UPDATES

 

* Mysterical-E will reprint the short story, "Call of Duty", in the Spring, 2010 issue.

 

* Thorndike Press will publish the large print, hardcover, version of The Rattlesnake Season.  It will be available for purchase 03/17/2010.

 

* "Lucky is Another Country" a new short story, will be read on Lit 103.3, on November, 03, 2009. The podcast and the text version of the story will be available on the web site thereafter.

 

* The Josiah Wolfe series will continue on with a 2-book deal from from Berkley. Josiah Wolfe #3, The Badger's Revenge, and #4, The Cougar's Prey, are slated for publication in late 2010, and early 2011.


* The release date for The Scorpion Trail is 04/06/2010

 

* The release date for The Rattlesnake Season is 10/06/2009

 

* The Rattlesnake Season and The Scorpion Trail have been accepted for publication by Berkley Books in a two-book deal featuring Texas Ranger, Josiah Wolfe. Check back for details.

 

* "The Ridges", a new short story, will appear in the anthology Zombie Raccoons and Killer Bunnies, published by DAW sometime in 2009. Check back for details.

 

* Larry's Spur award winning short story "The Promotion" is now available as an electronic download from the Sony eBook store

 

* Mysterical-E has accepted Larry's short story, "Daddy's Little Girl", for publication in April of 2008

 

* Boys' Life has accepted the short story "The Trouble with Wind" for publication

 

* "Silent Hill", a western short story, has been accepted for the Ghost Towns of the American West anthology, to be published by Kensington Press

 

* Larry is a contributor for the upcoming M.E. Sharpe encyclopedia, Encyclopedia of the Western Expansion, edited by Jim Crutchfield. Topics include, the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Indian tribes among others.

 

* Amazon Shorts has accepted Larry's short story A Rain Dance in Chelsea--publication date--FORTHCOMING

 

* "See Also Murder" has been nominated for a Derringer Award by the Short Mystery Fiction Society. Announcements will be made May 15th.
